Information we collect
Information you choose to provide
Depending on how you use SQT, you may provide information such as your name, email address, company, website, position or role, country, a message you send us, or your responses to the Problem Fit Scan.
Please do not submit passwords, regulated personal information, confidential customer data, proprietary business information or other sensitive information unless we explicitly request it and provide an appropriate method for doing so.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, our hosting and email infrastructure may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and timestamps, generally as part of normal server operation. SQT does not use cookies or similar technologies to build behavioral profiles, and any optional measurement technology is loaded only if you allow it — see “Cookies, analytics and similar technologies” below.
Problem Fit Scan
The Problem Fit Scan uses your responses to generate a directional assessment of problem complexity, urgency and potential SQT fit.
Your assessment answers are processed in your browser as you complete the Scan. If you choose to receive your full insight by email, your name, email address, company, website, position and country are submitted together with your assessment answers so that we can send your result to you and follow up if relevant.
That information is sent by email — to you and to a small SQT team inbox — through our email service provider. It is not currently stored in a database or CRM.
The Scan is designed for high-level business context. Do not include confidential, personal, regulated or sensitive information in optional text fields.

Service providers & sharing
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate parts of the website, currently including website hosting and infrastructure, Microsoft 365 for outbound email delivery, a consent management platform operated by Bernier Group that records and applies your privacy choices, and — only where you have allowed it — Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity. These providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
We may disclose information to service providers, professional advisers, authorities when legally required, or as part of a legitimate corporate transaction.
How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to operate the relevant service, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements or satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by type of information and system.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered or lost.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to you, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent or other controls over your personal information. Contact us to ask about the rights that apply to your information.
International use
SQT’s website and service providers may operate across more than one country. As a result, information may be processed or stored outside the country where you live. Where required, appropriate legal mechanisms should be used for international transfers.
Children’s privacy
SQT’s website and services are intended for professional and business audiences and are not directed to children.
External websites
SQT may link to LinkedIn, research organizations, technology providers and other external websites. Those services operate under their own privacy practices and terms. SQT is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.
